CARFAX Homegrown™

A vehicle that was originally sold new by a dealership and is now being evaluated or sold again by that same dealership. At least 75% of the vehicle’s reported service was also performed there, meaning the dealership has handled most of its care and maintenance.

CARFAX recommends that you have this vehicle inspected by a qualified mechanic.

Damage Severity

Damage events result in one of the following severity levels:

Minor: Generally, minor damage is cosmetic (including dents or scratches), may only require reconditioning, and typically does not compromise a vehicle's operation and/or safety.
Moderate: Moderate damage may affect multiple components of the vehicle and may impair the vehicle's operation and/or safety.
